The Perfecta BP SDY is an offline three-knife trimmer that trims books, brochures, magazines, and catalogs on all three sides in one pass, at up to 25 cycles per minute on a rigid cast-iron frame. A servo-driven backgauge and feeder clamp position each stack precisely, the Cutpit touchscreen stores jobs with return- and continuous-mode operation, and quick-change knife cassettes and lightweight cast-aluminum cutting plates keep format changes short for digital and short-run book work.
